Yesterday was a crazy Sunday for us. The day started with a good thunderstorm over our area. I don't mind the rain much, in fact I welcome it because I like my flowers to get some water without me doing it myself. So I got up extra early because I knew I had to be at church very early and ready to translate for the speakers in Sacrament. I usually translate when Brad is home on Sunday but I missed that Sunday this month so I had to do my part at the end of the month. I brought little Bradley with me and he was good enough to last to the last speaker. My dear friend sat on the pew behind me to watch Bradley. I think he did pretty good for the first time he has had to be with someone other than me. After Sacarament everything changed much like the weather. Bradley went to Nursery and I went to class. I was telling my Visiting Teacher that going to church alone with my wild child is something that could definitley discourage me from going to church. It is hard to deal with Little Bradley, but I am not going to give up, although some Sundays I wake up and I have already given up, I actually don't look foward to Sundays and and especially Sacrament meetings. I can now see why some women in the church stop coming to church. It isn't that they don't want to be there, it's that they can't be there in spirit. It isn't easy to come to church with load of kids and have to deal with them by yourself. I perceive that in the near future when my kids outnumber me I will only assist church when Brad is around to help me, or not go to church at all until they are older and I don't have to run after them during Sacrament meeting.

So I have secretly been part of the Mary Kay Pink Bubble for a year now. Yes, I am a Mary Kay Consultant , and mostly because I love the products. Anyhow, I am trying to revitalize my business and get a fresh start. I just wanted to share with all of you some of my favorite Mary Kay skin care products. I love their Timewise skin care collection. I have been using it for a year now and I can't complain about it. By the way, Mary Kay in moving up in the mineral world and I just tested their new mineral powder. WOW!! It is a great product. It has great coverage and it looks so natural. Now Mary Kay making all their cheek, and eye color with minerals because it is the latest and it is also better for your skin. My other faves are the satin hand set and the satin lips set. Let me not forget about the Oil Free Eye Makeup Remover. These are just a few of a ton of products that I like to play around with. The other product I like is their Subtle Tanning Lotion. I obviously don't need it much because of my complexion but I am sure some of the ladies who can't catch a tan any summers would love this product. So if any of you are interested in purchasing any products for Mother's Day or a graduation gift give me a call or check out my website www:marykay.com/maggiesummers

On Friday we went to the Sweet Berry Farms in Marble Falls to pick strawberries. I invited a friend of mine who has two boys that are good friends with Bradley. Bradley had so much fun, but he did not enjoy the part of picking stawberries and falling in the mud. Everytime he picked a ripe strawberry and it would pop in his hand he would go nuts. It was funny to see how he hates to get his fingers dirty. We had a sack lunch out there. There were tons of kids and schools were out there too. It was funny to see that Bradley was probably in every school group picture because he would pop in front of the kids and say "CHEESE"!!. I think what he really enjoyed about this whole little excursion was feeding the goats. He laughed so hard everytime a goat would like his hands. He would go crazy, and if you have heard him laugh you know how funny his laugh is.

This weekend my aunts from Mexico came to visit. I love their visits but the visits are always so short. My Grand Aunt Eva "Eve" came down from Mexico City and my Aunt Rosy from Monterrey. They came with my mom. They got here on Friday at midnight and left very Sunday morning.

This morning we ran the Crocodile Run 1k which benefits Heart Gift. HeartGift is a non-profit organization of pediatric cardiothoracic surgeons, doctors, hospitals and volunteer families. It was formed for the sole purpose of providing desperately needed heart surgery to underprivileged children around the world. This year a little boy from Nigeria was brought to the Dell Children's Hospital where he underwent a successful heart surgery. In addition to the run we got to mingled with the Chick-Fil-A Cows and with the Biscuit Brothers. After the run the Biscuit Brother put on a concert in the Paramount Theatre. It was so much. I think we will be participating in this run annually. I had heard of this organization a few years back from a sister in our ward, but a another good friend of mine discovered the run and we went together. Bradley had so much fun, especially since his buddies were around. We saw a couple of members at the run.

The guys are working hard on my front garden. I am so sore from digging holes for my plants. I love home improvement projects but my body does not appreciate the pain on my arms, back, and legs. I can't wait till we finish everything we had planned.

Yesterday we started our week by organizing, cleaning, and finishing some due projects. So Brad spent the entire day yesterday organizing the garage. I am glad he finally did this. There is so much more room and it looks great. He hung tons of his tools and cleared out his work bench. He also helped me finish my flag that I have been working on since November. I am so excited because this week we have so many projects to get to. We probably going to laminate little Bradley's bedroom floor and also paint it. We decided that we would not paint all of the bedroom, we are going to put a double beaded panel on the bottom half of the bedroom and paint the top half. We have not started on this project yet but we are going to get around to it, hopefully sometime this week and I will hopefully get started on my garden in the front tomorrow. Today is like our day off because Brad has a huge midterm and he is also getting a crown replaced. I hope he still has the same energy he had yesterday for tomorrow. This is a perfect week to get things done. The weather has been great.
