Getting Ready for Halloween

So every year my mother-in-law invites us the "girls" over to do a craft during Women's Conference or General Conference while the men are at the Priesthood Session. This is our latest craft. I am not quite finished with this one but this is what mine looks like.

I still have to add some embelishments to finish it up.

Here is the other side.

Let's ReCap the Last Month

For those of you who keep up with my blog, I apologize tremendously for not staying up to date. I was out of commission for a while. About two weeks ago I was making some delicious Au Gratin Potatoes and as I was slicing my potatoes I sliced my thumb. So typing was quite limiting. But my thumb has recovered and I think I am back in business unless of course the early symptoms of what I want to be a normal cold turn into N1H1. Lets hope that is not the case.
So in the last month we have been keeping ourselves pretty busy. The house is coming together. But it will be a while before we see all our wall decor up. However, Brad did manage to organize the garage, he kind of had to. We lost our car keys for the 100th time so we cleaned out the garage while we looked for the keys. The keys were not in the garage they were in the kitchen. But since we had everything out in our driveway the boys took advantage of that enjoyed a ride on their power wheels.

We joined a coop-preschool for little Bradley. It has been real nice that I can still keep in touch with some of our friends from our old ward. This week we hosted preschool in our house. The theme was : I am Thankful for My Body. We learned about our bodies about our bodies and how to keep them clean and healthy. We talked about Tina Tissue and Ted Tissue, and since we coverd the letter D we did "D"ragons I am really enjoying doing this coop-preschool.

This month we also celebrated little Sam's 1st birthday. I can not believe he is 1 year already. He is such a cutie and such a mama's boy. He is adorable and is such a character. We are truly blessed to have in our family. We had a very nice low key family gathering. As can see by the pictures Sammy is not much of a cake eater. He was not sure what to do with the cake.

We Are Home

We have been living in our new home almost a month. We have opened the last boxes we have and we feel cleansed. I have to admit that I do get nostalgic when I drive down 620 or when I go to Sam's. It is a strange feeling to move in the same city. We are very excited to get started on new projects in this house. We've already made our list of things we want to do in this house to make it our house.
